Are expectations set very high for kids to have all the best stuff for their dorm room? It is a dorm room and not an apartment, after all. These rooms are very small and space is always at a premium. So why are there catalogs popping up everywhere selling elaborate furniture to kids leaving the house for the first time? Well, the answer is probably obvious.
One of these catalogues contained a checklist of dorm “essentials” that contained hundreds of items. No way would half that stuff fit into a dorm room.
In my dorm, people either assembled bunkbeds or a loft bed to gain the most space. We did the latter, then purchased a couch from an old man's porch for $20 to put under it. Ah… college bliss…

Emily Mortimer is in a new film called "Transsiberian". She plays Jessie, a former bad girl now doubtfully married to a church-going, happy-go-lucky train nut. After a peace mission in China, they take the title train and wind up entrenched in drugs, murder and other unforeseen troubles.
Many scenes were filmed on actual trains and had to make use of the existing structures like the bunkbeds to get the right camera angles.
Most of the time you'd be in the real space. You'd have a cameraman above you on the bunkbed and a sound man crouched in the closet. It was fantastic.

In celebration of the 150th anniversary (sesquicentennial) of the all-girls boarding school, Hampton High, about 500 past students are expected to gather on the school campus in Malvern, St. Elizabeth from July 25 - 27 for a reunion weekend, dubbed "Relive the Hampton Experience".
Over the three days, the Hamptonians are expected to relive and re-enact a number of the traditions of the school. They will be expected to dress in tunics, sleep in the existing bunkbeds in the dormitories, partake of midnight tuck feasts, participate in assembly in the Quad, and attend Chapel service.

Often when writing Wordpress posts, we have a desire to link to external websites. Sometimes we like to cite an article on another website or blog. Many times, these links are "links of pure love" and they will benefit from gaining an additional link and pagerank. Sometimes you reference another site that is a exhibiting a bad behavior and these could be categorized as "links of pure hate". You certainly don't want that site to benefit from you giving them a link. (Dan Thies coined these terms at SEO Research Labs). Sometimes we just reference a definition and they don't need the link juice. Like this: Wikipedia Nofollow Definition.
The best way to not pass "link juice" to a site you are linking to is to add rel="nofollow" to the link in the HTML code. In Wordpress this means that while you are writing the post, you need to use the "Insert Link" feature, then go into the HTML editor mode, find the link in the code, then add the rel="nofollow", then switch back to Visual mode and continue writing your posts.
The problem for us was that many times we forget to manually add the code to the link! Not to mention that it is just a real pain-in-the-butt to do it anyways. Besides, we are inherently lazy. LOL.
So, we decided to build a plug-in. When activated, it simply adds a checkbox to the "Insert Link" dialog box. If you want to "nofollow" the link, just check the box. We thought it was so useful, we wanted to share it with the Wordpress community. So here it is. Enjoy!
Wordpress Plugin: nofollow-post
Description: Adds nofollow capability to Wordpress built-in visual editor (TinyMCE)
Download Link: http://blog.bunkbedsnow.com/nofollow-post.zip
Installation: Un-zip the archive, upload to your "plugins" directory, then activate the plugin from Wordpress. Also, most browsers cache javascript files, so you will probably need to flush your cache for the changes to show up in your wordpress editor.
Compatibility: Should work for Wordpress 2.1 - 2.6
Please let us know if this plugin was useful to you, or if you have any problems with the plugin.
There are many type of prefabricated construction methods. These are methods of building something that take place in factories to build more efficiently. Many times the quality can be better then if the same item is built in the field because quality control is tighter in a factory. But typically, the pre-fab is built using the same materials and the field-built one. But how about building an entire jail with concrete?
We are talking about the entire jail being built like a giant lego contruction set including concrete bunkbeds.
Components in the cells include a stainless steel toilet/sink unit, steel mirrors, a concrete bunk and desk and a shelf unit with clothes hooks. Each module backs up to a common utility chase for easy maintenance access.

So what's it like to be a rock star these days? Well, for the most part it means a lot of bus riding and sleeping in bunkbeds.
At 36-years-old, frontman Craig Finn is still touring a grueling 320 days out of a year, still sleeping on a tour bus bunk bed, and selling incrementally less records than ever before in this digital age of downloading—never mind gas prices. If someone needed a pick-me-up, it's the lead singer of an indie-rock band.
Who said bunkeds were only for kids?

Have you ever stayed at a Holiday Inn that had Kid Suites? It's an excellent place to stay if you have kids. They go all out to try to give them something different from a typical hotel stay. This usually includes video games, cartoon murals and bunkbeds.
We found the Holiday Inn and our Kids Suite for our second night. The kids had bunkbeds on one side of a wall, with their own TV, we had beds on the other side. They went swimming just down the hall, we ate supper in our room, more swimming and games, then off to bed.

The modern RV is a sight to behold. Do you have what it takes to live in the lap of luxury while moving down the road?
The 2009 Winnebago Outlook 30D is not your typical Class C motor home," said Winnebago Industries' Chairman of the Board, CEO and President Bob Olson. "One look inside the new 30D floorplan and you'll realize this is a totally different coach. We've taken the conventional bedroom area and transformed it into spacious living and dining space that is also perfect for entertaining. Plus, you have plenty of sleeping space too. This is a revolutionary floorplan that we're extremely excited to show in Minneapolis.
This is certainly not the camping trip I had when I was a kid.
The 24P features a front sofa slide and bunk beds in the rear, with two optional DVD players with 8.5-inch LCD players available for added bunk fun. Built on a Dodge Sprinter chassis, the fuel efficient View also boasts a powerful Mercedes Benz diesel engine.

There are a few things that kids really find exciting in a house. Things like pools and swings can keep a kid occupied for hours on end. But inside, there is seldom a piece of furniture that satisfies more than a bunkbed.
On one vacation, this family reports:
Connor found the bunkbeds, slippery hardwood floors, porch swing and the pool out back and pronounced it, "The coolest house ever!"
