Bunk Beds – Making the Most Out of Your Room

If you’ve ever furnished your own bedroom, you know how difficult it can be to fit in and arrange all the furniture to your liking. Just when you thought you had everything arranged the perfect way, you find that a dresser doesn’t fit between the closet and the bed. Now you have to rearrange the desk to the opposite side but now the room is awkward and uneven! It is very frustrating to have to arrange all the large furniture pieces in a way you will be completely happy with the space and arrangements. Now imagine doing the same thing in a room half the size of yours and this time, you have to please two kids who will be sharing the room!

You’ll soon find that this is a much more difficult task as the number of furniture and size stays relatively the same as yours but the room is much smaller. Luckily, kids don’t typically complain too much about space conserving since they can’t really tell the difference, but your conscious cares! You want your kids to have lots of play space. So what is the perfect solution? Children’s Bunk Beds!

Bunk beds nowadays come in various shapes and sizes. Depending on the size of your children’s room and the shape, you can opt for various shapes to furnish their room the way you want while conserving space! With bunk beds, you can save at least 50% of the space that would normally be occupied if you had opted for two twin size beds. By stacking the twin size beds on top of each other, you have more play room and oftentimes, the bunk bed itself becomes a good play area. Keep in mind that safety should always be first but children love the feeling of being elevated on top of a bunk bed!

Other options such as a loft bed or futon bed also follows the same concept in saving space. Loft beds enable you to fit other various furniture pieces under the bed, such as a desk or a dresser while a futon bed can be converted from a bottom bunk to a couch.

Another great feature about many bunk beds is that it comes with optional upgrades. For a small price, you can add dressers, extra beds, desks and various other add-ons to your already existing bunk bed.

Giving your children enough space to play in is very important. Let your kids live a little!
